RE: Saving and uploading the census page

I have moved back the deadline for uploading your Philadelphia Census 2000 page to 5:00 pm tomorrow.

I have had a few emails from you all regarding problems either saving the census page to a pdf, and/or uploading a pdf. There seem to be two issues.

First, problems saving the file to an adobe pdf. Usually you can right click on a document, and a "save as" option comes up. Or you could try printing it to adobe pdf. If neither of these work ask one of the consultants who are there. They are paid to help you.

Some folks have indicated that TURNITIN did not want to tak an adobe pdf file. If so, you can insert the pdf file into word. If you are using Word 2003 do this

- open a blank word document
- click on insert
- click on object
- click on the tab "Create from file"
- highlight the adobe pdf file
- click on it
- it should come into your word doc
- save your word doc and upload that.
