The reason your grade appears as it does because on or more of the pieces of work required to receive a passing grade in this course were not turned in and/or did not get graded. The piece in question is one or more of the papers.
As stated in the syllabus distributed on the first week of class, all papers needed to be completed in order to receive a passing grade.
Please chat me up about this when the semester starts up again on 1/16. I am around MWThF; best time to catch me is after I get out of class, around noon or so.
PART 2
Grades have been posted and appear in the department of criminal justice bulletin board outside of the department office on the fifth floor of Gladfelter Hall. The grade sheet was delivered to the registrar's office today
As I announced repeatedly in class the last week of class, the final grades would be going in late because of my travel schedule. THAT is why you have an MG if you are checking grades online.
For four students that I know are graduating in January (Connor, Leotta, Gilbert, Cole), I have called those grades in to advising.
I will be on campus MWThF starting 1/16; best time to reach me is after I get out of class, around noon. After you have reviewed the full work sheet for the grades posted in the department, if you still have questions I would be very glad to speak with you about any remaining concerns.
Hope that your holidays are going well. I enjoyed having you in class last semester and wish you all the best for the coming semester.
Cheers, rbt
