This center is a non-profit resource center for community groups working on environmental justice issues. With its main office located in Riverside, California, this center brings groups of people together to find opportunities for cooperation, agreement and problem solving.
This is a non-profit organization working with community groups who suffer from the effects of toxic dumps. They provide science and technical assistance as well as organizing and leadership training.
Chester Residents Concerned for Quality Living is a local grassroots community near Philadelphia, PA, that has been fighting for environmental justice for several years.
Working Group for Environmental Justice:
With joint support from Harvard University's Provost's Fund for Interfaculty Collaboration and the University's Committee on Environment, the interfaculty Working Group on Environmental Justice has been created as an interdisciplinary and university-wide effort to examine issues of environmental justice both within this country and around the world. This site is also a great resource for reviewing environmental justice related legislation.
