Purpose and goals. I hope the web pages I put up will provide information to students in my courses that they find helpful. I also include some information about recent scholarly activity. There's also some admittedly less than helpful stuff as well. Nonetheless, as you will see, the pages are not fancy. I would rather talk to my students than spend time fiddling with web pages.
